knew August would be better !

Finished in the money in the $2k added Poker Night Live MTT on Spin Palace tonight but for the second time in three weeks it was at the minimum level, although still a profit of 50% on my money.

I am adding another hand to those that I am going to stop playing as 44 put a big dent in my chips early on and was the hand I was knocked out with a lot later too. At worst I was down to 175 chips having lost to AA and QQ in quick succession but A rag (paired the A against 77), K 10 (flopped A high straight) and AA v KK put me right back in the top 10. Then had AQ and thought was going to hit the top 5 but A 10 made a set ! Last week I finished out of the money altogether so I'll settle for tonight and hope to get further into the money next Friday.

Last night I had my best return for more than a month when finishing 5th in the $2.5k freeroll on Sporting Odds for $200. So I am happy to see the back of July.

Tomorrow I journey to Birmingham to play in a private tournament arranged by Punters Lounge so really looking forward to it and testing my skills live again.
