Beware

A losing day today at the tables so a couple of warnings only :-

1. On Victor Chandler (or others using their skin such as Blue Square, Paddy Power, Racing Post, Maxim and The Sun) if you are dealt pocket Kings be prepared for another player to have pocket Aces. It happens everywhere at some time or another but in my experience too often on VC.

Tonight's example in the Sun WSOP qualifier was worse than ever. I am dealt KK so go all-in, to be called by KJ, AA and AA. The only help to anyone on the board is that the KJ paired his J and I am as good as out. The very next hand I was out when my short stacked K9 was beaten by AK (held by one of the AA).

2. If anyone ever invites you to call their all-in saying they have to leave, do not believe them. You can be certain they are holding a huge hand and are trying to sucker you.

And even if they are a personal friend and can be trusted, the cards cannot - so their 23os could still hit a full house !
